Cardiff School of Healthcare Sciences is a thriving centre of teaching and research in the fields of Nursing & Midwifery and Allied Health Professions, with a local, national and international reputation in all areas.

We wish to appoint a new External Examiner to our post-registration BSc Clinical Practice/ BSc Community Practice programmes along with the Return to Practice programme.

The term of office will be for four academic years commencing with effect from September 2016 and applications are invited from Senior Lecturers, or above, who have registered teacher status with the NMC.

Please note that external examiners are required to engage with assessment of both theory and practice elements of the programme. External Examiners should attend a minimum of one examination board per year and will be invited to meet with students and mentors.
