The Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education is looking to appoint an External Examiner with expertise in clinical skills for its FdSc Hospital & Health Care programme validated by University of Hull. The post is for an immediate start with a two year tenure. This is a shorter tenure as the programme will be finishing in 2020.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate teaching experience in the subject area at levels 4 and 5.
As an External Examiner for the Institute, you would need to:
• approve all assessment;
• moderate sample of student output;
• attend Exam Boards in February, June and August;
• submit a formal report at the end of the academic year; and
• be involved in consultation on programme modifications.
