The University of Sunderland, Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing requires an External Examiner for the nursing apprentice provision.
The External Examiner will be required to undertake EE duties for the BSC (Hons) Adult / MH / LD Nursing Apprenticeships.
The programme(s) have 2 intakes per year, and apprentices undertake a work based learning programme to meet the NMC 2010 & 2018 standards in addition to ESFA requirements.
The EE will need to cognisant of the ESFA requirements, NMC 2010 / 2018 standards and work based learning. The EE will be required to attend at least two progression boards per year (one can via Skype).
