The BSc (Hons) Professional Practice in Health & Social Care programme which is delivered in partnership with SEGI College in Kuala Lumpur. This programme is a top up degree which aims to facilitate the nursing practitioner to develop the skills required to reflect upon, evaluate and extend his/her practice applying knowledge and understanding to initiate change where appropriate and to develop knowledge and skills to act in the capacity of a teacher and assessor of pre-qualifying nursing students. Students are already employed and this degree forms part of their continuing professional development
The FdSc Assistant Health & Social Care Practitioner programme is a two year foundation degree which has a strong focus upon work based learning. Students studying on this programme are employed in a wide range of settings within healthcare organisations and are preparing for a range of assistant healthcare practitioner roles.
The successful applicant must hold current registration with the NMC as a nurse.
The tenure is over a four year period commencing September 2016.
Role Requirements: examine assessments and student work ensuring parity of provision by reviewing the standard of assessments, the fitness for purpose of quality processes relating to the assessments and the level of achievement our students’ attain.
