The University of Dundee is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for our Pre-registration Nursing Programme, Mental Health, which is delivered at degree, honours and Masters levels. You would also be asked to review work by the small number of students taking the return-to-practice programme for mental health.
The University requires that External Examiners have qualifications at least equivalent to the Programme being examined, so the successful applicant will possess a Masters Degree. A teaching qualification is also essential for this post.
Please be aware that the NMC requires external examiners for Nursing and Midwifery programmes to possess current registration on the appropriate part of the NMC Register.
All appointments will be from 1 October 2018 and will be initially for a three year period.
