The University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified academic to act as External Examiner for the BSc (Hons) Midwifery, BSc (Hons) Midwifery shortened course and return to midwifery practice.
The successful applicant must be registered on the appropriate part of the NMC register and have relevant experience of working in midwifery as well as teaching on midwifery programmes. He/she will work with our existing external examiners to review a number of modules within the midwifery programmes. This will include modules delivered at both level 5 and level 6, with some of the modules shared between pathways.
The External Examiner will be expected to attend the programme assessment board, consider student work and contribute to the overall assessment process.
