The School of Nursing, Midwifery & Social Work is seeking to appoint an external examiner for our outgoing and new Pre-Registration Nursing Programme. (Recruiting annually). A number of external examiners from all fields of nursing are currently involved. Most of our assessments take place on-line and you will be able to view the work in this way. To ensure that all University & NMC requirements are met we hold both module and programme boards across the year.
The appointment is from September 2019 and will be for a 4 year period. In addition we are currently developing apprentice and postgraduate routes for delivery from September 2019 (subject to NMC approval). Therefore, experience of teaching and assessing at undergraduate and postgraduate level with current field specific registration and a Masters level qualification are essential pre-requisites.
Experience of teaching and assessing at postgraduate level would also be desirable.
