We wish to appoint an External Examiner for our Post Qualifying Social Work CPD Provision. The National Centre for Post Qualifying Social Work and Professional Practice has had over 20,000 students in the past 19 years and works with over half of the local authorities in England, plus 50 other major employers. It is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable people by enhancing professional health and social care practice.
We pride ourselves on facilitating flexible partnerships with employers and practitioners to provide CPD opportunities for professionals working with children and families. Our units and programmes have been designed to meet contemporary professional standards including the Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF) and the HCPC standards of Proficiency.
The post would be for four years commencing in September 2019 and would involve attending two exam boards a year. An induction programme is offered.
