External Examiner – Post Qualification Professional Programmes across Healthcare and Social Work

The Professional Development Centre (PDC) at the University of Lincoln is looking to appoint two external examiners to its growing provision of post registration programmes. Programmes range from short courses at Undergraduate level to 3 year Masters level ACP qualifications. The appointments will commence in April 2018 and are expected to run for four years.
Successful applicants with experience in the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply:

• Social Work
• Frailty
• Infection Prevention and Control
• Tissue Viability
• Non Medical Prescribing
• Mental Health (Older adult/Dementia)
• Long Term Conditions
• Advanced Clinical Practice
• Adult Critical Care

• Current registration with the NMC
• Recordable teaching qualification with the NMC
• Relevant and up to date experience and expertise
