University of Liverpool Faculty of Health and Life Sciences is seeking to appoint an External Examiner to ensure appropriate quality standards are achieved within the Post Graduate Diploma/Masters in Veterinary Physiotherapy.
We are seeking a replacement external examiner to start in September 2016 for a 4 year tenure.
Applicants are advised that the University applies the following criteria to external examiners:
- The area of expertise of external examiners is within the area of examinations undertaken
- Applicants should have recently been employed (or are still employed) within a university appointment
- He/she must not have been a University of Liverpool examiner within the last five years
- He/she will have a qualification registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and University examining experience.
The successful applicant must hold a minimum academic qualification at Masters/PhD level.
All coursework is electronically submitted and marked online; External Examiners will be required to use the online moderating process. User guides and support will be available. The External Examiner would be expected to attend the final examination (in May) and MRB in person once per year and sykpe exam boards at some other point if required.
