The University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified academic to act as External Examiner for our existing NMC approved PGD and BSc (Hons) Community Specialist Practitioner (Community Nursing in the Home) programmes and a newly developed PGD and BSc (Hons) Community Health Practice (top up) programmes.
The successful applicant must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and have relevant experience of working and teaching within the community health fields. He/she will work with our existing team of External Examiners to review a number of modules within the programmes. This will include modules delivered at both level 6 and 7.
The External Examiner will be expected to attend the programme assessment board, consider student work and contribute to the overall assessment process.
