Ulster University is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for our PGCert / PGDip / MSc Nursing programme. This post will involve external moderation of work relating to several modules of study at level 7 including modules in leadership, communication, person-centred practice, research methods and the dissertation module. A new revalidated programme is in planning for September 2020.
The post also involves attendance at Boards of Examiner meetings (usually one examination board per year in October) and completion of an annual monitoring report.
The post requires that external examiners possess a Masters degree or above, and have current NMC registration.
This appointment will be from 1 September 2019 for four years. Induction is provided at the university on appointment. Applications are by submission of a CV to the Course Director.
