Northumbria University, Faculty of Health & Life Sciences, currently has a vacancy for an External Examiner for the PG Cert/PG Dip/Masters in Professional Non-Surgical Aesthetics Practice. The programme is a registered education provider with the Joint Council of Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP). The programme is delivered via blended learning with academic and practice based competency assessment. It is provided for registered nurses, doctors and dentists.
We are seeking to recruit an external examiner with expertise in aesthetic practice who is registered with the NMC, GMC or GDC. It would be preferred, though not essential, if the candidate had previous experience as an external examiner. Support and guidance will be provided for those new to this role.
The appointment will be to commence with immediate effect following committee approval, for a four-year term.
