Edge Hill University, Faculty of Health, is seeking to appoint the following external examiner to modules within its PPE Undergraduate and Postgraduate Portfolios:

Vacancy Ref: CPD 061
The remit includes a range of modules at level 6 and 7, within the subject expertise of:

  • Independent & Supplementary Prescribing (NMC, HCPC, GPhC approved)
  • V150 Nurse Prescribing (NMC approved)
  • Principles of Pharmacology

Successful applicants would be appointed with effect from January 2017 for a term of four years, and would be joining an established and supportive external examiner team. External examiners are required to attend Module Assessment Boards and to complete an annual report. External examiners are also invited to engage with students in practice.

Applicants are required to be GPhC, HCPC or NMC registrants and hold a recorded prescribing qualification with their professional regulator.
