We are seeking to appoint an External Examiner for our MSc Professional Practice in Health Sciences programme.
This degree affords students the opportunity to tailor their programme to their ambitions and professional interests.
Core modules include the Research and Dissertation modules, which underpin the processes of evidence-based practice. The remainder of the programme will be selected from a choice of healthcare related option modules, which afford students the opportunity to undertake a bespoke pathway. The programme aims to develop independent and critical thinking skills, to enable students to constructively question healthcare policy and practice.
This post will be with immediate effect.
Applicants should hold appropriate academic qualifications; preferably have previous experience of acting in the role as an External Examiner and have a background in healthcare education.
Examination Boards usually take place twice per year. For further information please contact Chris Franks, Programme Lead on C.J.Franks@soton.ac.uk.
If you are interested in applying, please forward your Curriculum Vitae and your area of interest/expertise by e-mail to the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences Curriculum and Quality Assurance team at firstname.lastname@example.org, outlining your teaching, research and External Examining Experience.
