The School of Health and Social Care, London South Bank University is seeking to appoint an external examiner for the MSc Leadership and Service Improvement in Health Care programme. This role will cover all years of the programme which encompasses; dissertations from leadership students, modules on change management, strategic leadership, quality improvement, patient and public engagement and coaching/mentoring for leadership, the cross school research module.
All coursework is electronically submitted by students and is marked online via Moodle. External examiners will be required to use the online moderating process.
The University appointments for external examiners commence in December and are normally for a period of 4 years.
As an applicant you are required to have:
- Relevant academic expertise and a health care professional qualification.
- A Masters degree in a health or management related subject or related PhD
- Current employment within a UK university
- No formal links with London South Bank University in the last five years
