MSc Advanced Professional Practice
This new Post-Registration programme has annual intake of approximately 40-50 students, plus there will be consideration of students completing the MSc Advanced Practitioner programme.
These posts will require consideration of assessments related to several modules of study at level and some co taught at level 6 and 7.
Level 6 and 7 – Foundations in End of Life Care, Advancing Practice in Dementia Care, Working with Older People, Long term Conditions (level 7 only), Advanced Communication and Professional Practice portfolio.
Level 7- Minor injuries, Minor Illness, Acute and Critical Care, Advanced Critical Care, Diagnostic interpretation, Paediatric Examination and Assessment, and New Born Infant Physical examination.
More modules may be added in 2018/19.
The appointments are to commence in September/October 2017. The successful applicants will be invited to attend an induction day prior to commencement of the role.
Responsibilities include: commenting on draft assessment guidelines, commenting on draft examination papers, reviewing samples of students’ work, attending meetings of examiners (usually one per year), and submitting an annual report.
