The School of Healthcare Practice is seeking to appoint external examiners to support three new post qualifying masters courses in Advanced Clinical Practice (Nursing), Advanced Clinical Practice (Midwifery) and Advanced Clinical practice (Paramedic).
The courses have been developed in partnership with local healthcare providers to develop their qualified workforce. They aim to extend the knowledge and skills of practitioners through university and work-based learning opportunities so that learning is meaningful and applicable to students’ roles as healthcare employees.
The courses share some units but also have units unique to each field of practice.
We welcome expressions of interest from academics who have a relevant professional healthcare background and who are willing to draw upon their experiences in contributing to the quality monitoring of these courses. Previous experience as an External Examiner is desirable but not essential as support will be provided. All appointments are subject to meeting the University’s criteria for the appointment of external examiners.
For an informal discussion and for expressions of interest please send a current CV to Dr Krishna Regmi: firstname.lastname@example.org
