External Examiner – Mentorship in Health Care Practice, Art and Science of Practice Education, Negotiated Work Based Learning

The Faculty of Education, Health & Community, School of Nursing and Allied Health at Liverpool John Moores University require an External Examiner for the following programmes:

  • Mentorship in Health Care Practice levels 6, 7 and non-credit bearing
  • Art and Science of Practice Education level 7
  • Negotiated Work Based Learning levels 6 and 7

The External Examiner appointment will run from 1st October 2018 to 30th September 2022.

Applicants should have previous experience of being an external examiner and a range of experience of NMC mentorship delivery and practice education. The post requires external review of assessments and completion of an annual monitoring report and attendance at the relevant Board of Examiners. Mentorship has up to 3 intakes per academic year and Art and Science one intake in September.

Programme details will be provided to the appointee and a full induction day will be offered. All appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University’s criteria for appointment.
