We are seeking to appoint an external examiner for the Master of Public Health (MPH) and the MPH Global Public Health Leadership programmes within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Oxford Brookes University.
Both awards are offered part-time and full-time to a range of healthcare professionals, public health practitioners, and aspiring public health practitioners. The Master of Public Health is taught on campus to domestic and international students alike, while the MPH Global Public Health Leadership is a brand-new distance learning programme. We pride ourselves on teaching innovation and employability-enhancing courses at Oxford Brookes, and our courses reflect this ethos.
The suitable candidate for this role will have experience of teaching public health in an academic context.
The appointment is from the beginning of September for a term of four years. External Examiners are required to moderate assessments, attend examination committees, and to complete an annual report. External Examiners are also requested to provide comments on proposed modifications to modules and the development of new modules, within their area of expertise.
Salary Range: £500 per annum.
