The School of Health and Social Care is the largest school in London South Bank University with a long-standing reputation for excellence in the education, research and practice development of a variety of health and social care specialists. The Department of Primary and Social Care works alongside leading Community NHS Trusts in the Capital.
The Department is seeking to appoint an external examiner for our MA, PGDip, PGCert in Practice Education. The post will commence in September 2017.
Applications are invited from academic staff who have a Nursing or SCPHN ( Health Visitor or School Nurse) qualification, active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and a relevant Practice Educator qualification OR with a Social Work qualification, active registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a relevant Practice Educator qualification. Applicants must also hold a PhD/ Professional Doctorate OR have equivalent academic experience. All appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University’s criteria for appointment (UK Quality Code for HE; Chapter 7 External Examining ; Indicator 5).
