The School of Health Sciences is looking to appoint an External Examiner for an established inter-professional post registration Independent Prescribing Module.
Candidates will therefore need to hold a current registration with the NMC. Applicants should hold a current independent prescribing qualification. External examiners will be expected to review a range of assessments relating to the module, be a member of the board of examiners and attend exam boards and comment and give advice relating to curriculum design and programme structure. Examiners will be expected to complete an annual examiners report form and engage with pathway leads and exam officers when necessary. Therefore, candidates should have experience in teaching and examining, have a good understanding of quality assurance, and have specific subject knowledge in relation to the educational preparation of future Independent Prescribers.

Applicants should have competence and experience relating to the assessment of Independent prescribing and should be currently employed as a Senior lecturer or above within a University appointment.
