The University of Gloucestershire is seeking to engage a HCPC or NMC registered Non-medical prescriber as an External Examiner for the following with immediate effect: we are seeking a replacement external examiner from the academic year 2020/21. The University of Gloucestershire offers extensive support for external examiners. Further support is also provided by the course lead for Advanced Clinical Practice and administration team. The University normally expects external examiners to attend a minimum of one examination board per year. Candidates must be registered with the NMC, be currently employed by a UK Higher Education Establishment, be UK resident, and have no more than one other significant external examining role currently. The University operates a two-tier examination board system, with external examiners being initially appointed to a Module Board where they will oversee a number of academic modules Independent and Supplementary Prescribing module AP7015 and the BSc (Hons) Nursing module ND6901 Evidence Based Medicines Administration, Optimisation and Management (All Fields).
