The Faculty of Health and Applied Social Sciences are looking to appoint an external examiner to take responsibility for the following modules. The post is to commence from September 2017

Pre-Operative Assessment Level 7 20 credits

This module is delivered over an academic year and offers a virtual blended approach to learning, being predominantly e learning.

Critical Care Developments
(60 credits )
The aims of this programme is to provide critical care nurses with the underpinning theoretical knowledge to support their daily practice.

Advancing the Critical Care Practitioner (30 credits ) Level 7
This module runs in conjunction with the MSc Advanced Practice (Critical Care) route.

Developing and managing care of the Highly Dependent Adult
(30 credits at level 6 )
The course consists of critically evaluating clinical assessment and examination, pathophysiological processes, underlying aetiology and management of acutely ill patients.

Developments in Renal care
( 30 credits at level 6)
The aims of this programme are to enhance the learner’s knowledge, skills and attitudes in relation to current renal clinical working environment.
