External examiner for The Professional Doctorate in Health & Wellbeing Award, Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, University of Wolverhampton.
The University of Wolverhampton requires an external examiner for The Professional Doctorate in Health & Wellbeing.
The external examiner will be expected to monitor the quality of the coursework across 4, level 8 taught modules:
- 8HW003 Positionality an d the Researcher 40 Credits
- 8HW001Advancing Professional Practice 60 Credits
- 8HW004 Undertaking a Critical Literature Review 40 Credits
- 8HW005 Understanding research structures and Processes 40 credits
There are currently 6 students taking year 2 modules and 12 taking year one modules.
We are seeking candidates whose areas of expertise would enable them to monitor the quality of these modules and externally moderate assessed work. External examiners are required to attend at least one assessment board a year and complete an annual report. External examiners are also required to provide comments on proposed modifications and the development of new modules within their area of expertise.
The post is for an initial period of 4 years, starting with induction in May 2017 and running for each academic year until October 2021
