The University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint a suitability qualified academic to act as External Examiner for the Community Specialist Practitioner programme (CSP) General Practice Nursing.
The successful applicant must be registered on the NMC register and have relevant experience of working in General Practice as well as teaching on a Community Specialist Practitioner programme. S/he will work with our existing External Examiners to review a number of modules within the CSP programme. This will include modules delivered at both Level 6 and 7, with some of the modules shared between pathways.
The External Examiner will be expected to attend the programme assessment board, consider student work and contribute to the overall assessment process.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic staff. All appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University’s criteria for appointment.
The appointment will be with effect from October 2015 and will be for a period of four years.
