Leeds Beckett University, Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, is seeking to appoint one External Examiner for our MSc Mental Health Practice award.

In addition there are two stand alone modules to be examined:

MSc Mental Health Practice/ PG Dip Specialist Community Public Health Nursing – Therapeutic Relationships for Health Care Professionals module/Person Centred Recovery Module.

1 examiner is required for a range of modules on these awards.

No previous experience of external examining is required as the University is able to provide mentorship to the successful applicants.

The appointment will commence in November 2016 and the tenure of appointment is for a period of four years. All External Examiner appointments are subject to approval by the University External Examiners Sub-committee. There is a two tier examination board system comprising of Examination Committees and Board of Examiners and External Examiners will be expected to attend Board of Examiners meetings at least once a year and submit an annual report.
