The University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified academic to act as External Examiner for the Pre-registration Mental Health Nursing programmes.
The successful applicant must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and have relevant experience of working in mental health practice as well as teaching on a pre-registration mental health nursing programme. S/he will work with our existing External Examiners to review a number of modules within the pre-registration mental health nursing programmes. This will include modules delivered at levels 5, 6, and 7 with some of the modules being shared between fields.
The External Examiner will be expected to attend the programme assessment board, consider student work and contribute to the overall assessment process.
