The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Surrey is seeking an external examiner for our MA in Education, PG Diploma Education for Health Professionals and PG Certificate Education for Healthcare Professionals:
The modules to be examined will include the following:
NUR3226 Return to Practice
NURM127 Practice Module for the Practice Teacher
NURM106 Art of Learning and Teaching
NURM147 Supporting Education in Practice
NURM117 Framing Learning through the Curriculum
NUR3225 Research for Professional Practice
NURM112 Dissertation
The appointment will be for a period of four years from October 2019. The University runs an Induction Day in September to support both new and experienced examiners.
As an external examiner your duties would include:
• External moderation of a range of assessments
• Submission of an annual report to the Dean of Academic Quality and Enhancement.
• Attendance at Assessment Boards.
• Advising on any proposed module modifications / new modules
