External examiner for Dip HE Paramedic Science
Faculty of Education Health and Wellbeing, University of Wolverhampton.
The University of Wolverhampton requires an external examiner for a range of Paramedic Science modules and an oversight of the whole Award.
The external examiner will be expected to monitor the quality of the coursework across the modules below:

(4HW060) Anatomy & Physiology for Paramedic Practice
(4HW061) Patient Assessment for Paramedic Practice
(4HW062) Assessment & Management of Urgent Conditions
(4HW063) Professional Issues for Paramedic Practice
(5HW055) Management of the Specialist Patient in Paramedic Practice (PART 1)
(5HW056) Management of the Specialist Patient in Paramedic Practice (PART 2)
(5HW053) Trauma & Critical Care Management for Paramedic Practice (PART 1)
(5HW054) Trauma & Critical Care Management for Paramedic Practice (PART 2)
(5HW057) Applied Pharmacology for Paramedic Practice
(5HW058) Principles of Decision Making & Leadership for Paramedic Practice
We are seeking candidates whose areas of expertise would enable him or her to monitor the quality of these programmes and externally moderate assessed work. External examiners are required to attend at least one assessment board a year and complete an annual report. External examiners are also required to provide comments on proposed modifications and the development of new modules within their area of expertise.
The post is for an initial period of 4 years, starting at the beginning of this academic year, September 2014-2018
