External Examiner for BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies Top-up Programme at the University of Worcester

The Three Counties School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Worcester is seeking an experienced academics, to act as an external examiner for the BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies top-up programme for international, and the UK registered nurses. The programme can be undertaken on a full or part-time basis. There seven modules available for the student to achieve the 120 credits, but not all the modules run each semester. The modules are:

We are seeking application from External Examiners:

  • With a minimum of three years’ experience as an external examiner;
  • Registered with NMC, with experience of working and teaching on your registered field of nursing;
  • Who has recently been employed (or are still employed) within a university appointment;
  • He/she must not have been a University of Worcester examiner within the last five years.

The University of Worcester supports the external examiners with a full induction day. The programme director and module team also provides further support. The appointment will be from September 2019 to December 2023. Applications are by submission of CV.
