The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences requires an External Examiner to support its Professional Preparation Programmes in Nursing.
The External Examiner will be appointed for three years, starting September 2014 with the possibility of further extension to the appointment of a fourth year. They are expected and encouraged to comment on the content of the subject area particularly with regard to subject benchmarks, the structure of the programmes, the appropriateness of the assessment procedures and the general conduct of the assessment process.
An External Examiner is required for the following programmes:
BSc Nursing Studies (Adult Nursing) – Levels 5 and 6
DipHE Nursing Studies (Adult Nursing) – Level 5
PGDip Nursing Studies (Adult Nursing) – Levels 6 and 7
