The University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for its portfolio of academic level 6 and 7 Courses, in the field of Acute and Critical Care.

Responsibilities will be for the Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing; Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing; Advanced Certificate Acute and Ongoing Care; Advanced Certificate Acute Hospital Care, and the Certificate in Recognising and Responding to Deterioration in the Acutely Ill Patient. The successful applicant must be registered with the NMC, have relevant clinical experience in the field of Acute and Critical Care, as well as experience of teaching on Acute and Critical Care programmes. The External Examiner will be expected to attend the programme assessment board, consider student work and contribute to the overall assessment process.
