The University of Bolton, School of Nursing and Midwifery, is seeking to appoint an external examiner for our FDSc Nursing Associate (Higher Apprenticeship Route and Self-Funded Route) programme, to support our existing external examiners. This is due to the expansion of the provision and an outgoing external examiner.
The duties will include the review of the students’ academic work and Practice Assessment Documents plus visiting practice learning partners as required at least once a year as per Nursing and Midwifery Council requirements. Placement are across Greater Manchester mainly but also in North Devon and Bradford. This will also include visiting Practice Partners.
External examiner appointments are typical for a period of four years and the appointment will start from January 2022 following approval of the appointment Applicants with relevant experience and knowledge of either FDSc Nursing Associate programmes or Pre-registration Nursing education and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
