We are seeking to appoint an External Examiner for the FD Nurse Associate programme, which forms part of the portfolio of the Department of Nursing & Clinical Sciences at Bournemouth University. The programme is delivered as part of our established partnership with Bournemouth & Poole College, and students will be supported via apprenticeships.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant academic and professional qualifications, including current NMC registration in adult and/or mental health nursing.
- Relevant expertise and breadth of experience to be able to undertake a role in the assurance of academic standards in Higher Education, and command the respect of academic peers.
- Familiarity with the standard expected of students undertaking a foundation degree. Experience of nurse associate programmes and/or partnership provision would be desirable
- Previous experience of external examining preferred, although support and guidance will be provided for anyone new to this role.
