The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences requires External Examiners to support the School of Health Sciences.
Our nursing programmes are ranked second in the UK by The Times/Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016 and The Complete University Guide. The School has a rich community of leading healthcare researchers and the programmes of study on offer reflect the current and future work of the clusters of expertise situated within the School
External Examiners will be appointed for three years starting in September 2016 with the possibility of further extension for a fourth year. They are expected and encouraged to comment on the content of the subject area particularly with regard to subject benchmarks, the structure of the programme, the appropriateness of the assessment procedures and the general conduct of the assessment process. Ideally External Examiners will be able to examine across both the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
We are looking for External Examiners to cover the following modules:
- Community Nurse Prescribing V100
- Complex Health Assessment
- Innovation and Practice in Long Term Conditions
- Leading and Managing Long term Conditions
- Nurse Independent Supplementary Prescribing V300
