The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences is seeking to appoint an External Examiner specialising in midwifery studies to join an existing team for our CPD Framework. The Framework allows health and social care students to progress from post registration/post qualification awards to a ‘top-up’ first degree and continue through PG Cert, PG Dip to MA Advanced Practice.
The awards are made up of a variety of individual 20 credit CPD units which students can take in ‘bite-sized chunks’ and are pre-dominantly worked-based. The External Examiner would be allocated a range of work at both levels 6 & 7 and should be a midwife registered with the NMC.
The post is for four years and would involve attending one exam board a year. An induction programme is offered.
