Queen Margaret University is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for our CPD Collaborations Framework. You would be asked to review work by students on a range of nursing, advancing practice and community modules at Degree, Honours and Masters level. External Examiners are also asked to undertake related activities, such as reviewing exam papers and new assessments.

Depending on workload, the successful candidate may also be asked to examine other professional practice modules.

The University requires that External Examiners have qualifications at least equivalent to the Programme being examined, so the successful applicant will possess a Masters Degree and should be NMC registered. A teaching qualification recorded with the NMC or Fellow of Higher Education Academy is also required.

The appointment will be from 1 May 2019 and will be initially for a four year period.
