College of Human and Health Sciences, Swansea University
The College of Human and Health Sciences is seeking an external examiner for our level 6 stand-alone modules: SHN3040 Foundations in Cardiac Nursing and SHG3075 Acute Cardiac Nursing.
The successful applicant will be asked to attend one examination board per year and submit an annual report following this. External examiners are also required to provide comments on proposed modifications and the development of new modules within their area of expertise.
Essential Criteria:
Experience of delivering relevant programmes at HE level
Current NMC registration on the appropriate part of the register
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience as an external examiner
Experience in cardiac nursing for health care professionals
Date of appointment: September 2019 – September 2023
Module details will be provided to the appointee and induction/training offered.
