We are seeking to appoint an experienced nurse academic from the Child Field of Practice to our team of external examiners. Tenure is for four years, commencing September 2018. The appointee will examine a range of field specific modules on our current Bachelor of Nursing programme and future developed pre-registration courses. In accordance with NMC requirements, the successful applicant will be responsible for assessing aspects of clinical practice and be required to attend examination boards throughout the academic year.
From September 2019, we plan to start several new pre-registration programmes, at degree and masters levels. We will welcome the appointee’s contribution to our course development, as we design new curricula that ensure we educate students that are fit to meet future healthcare challenges and opportunities.
