The University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified academic to act as External Examiner for:
- Level 7 MSc child and adolescent mental health
- Level 6 BSc child and adolescent mental health practice
- Level 6 (20 credit option module) as part of the pre-registration nursing programme
The successful applicant must be registered on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Register and have relevant experience of working in the arena of child and adolescent mental health in a professional capacity. He/she will work with our existing External Examiners to review a number of modules within the BSc and MSc child and adolescent mental health courses and optional modules as part of the pre-registration nursing programme. This will include modules delivered at both Level 6 and level 7.
The External Examiner will be expected to attend the programme assessment board, consider student work and contribute to the overall assessment process.
