The Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education is seeking to appoint an external examiner for its Mentorship for Practice and Return to Practice modules within the BSc ‘top-up’ and MSc Healthcare Practice programmes. The term of office will commence from September 2019 and the tenure is for four years.
These post-qualifying workforce development programmes are validated by St George’s University of London and include a range of specialist clinically focused pathways, predominantly aimed at existing nurses and paramedics. Details of our workforce development modules can be found at http://www.healthcare.ac.uk/workforce-development/. Most modules within these programmes are available at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and the appointed examiners will review comparable modules from both programmes. The examiner will also be expected to attend up to six examination boards each year which are held at our St George’s site in Tooting (easily accessible by public transport) and submit an annual report. An induction will be offered.
