The University of Gloucestershire, School of Health & Social Care, is seeking an External Examiner for the BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science course. We are keen to recruit an academic member of staff that has HCPC registration as a Paramedic.

External Examiner experience is desirable, but not essential for this role. Applications are welcomed from individuals who are new to this role with internal examination and moderation experience and support and mentorship will be given for your development.

You will be invited to attend approximately three module assessment boards per year, and asked to moderate assessments for level 5 and level 6 study. At the end of each academic year you will be required to submit a report for the Academic Course Lead to consider and respond to. You will also be expected to comment on assessments during the design process for the coming academic year, and course improvements as required.

This is for an immediate start with a tenure of 4 years.
