The University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified academic to act as External Examiner for
- Advanced Certificate in Palliative Care
- Advanced Certificate in Introduction to Chronic
- Oedema Management
The successful applicant must be registered on the NMC register and have relevant experience of working in the arena of long term conditions, cancer and/or palliative care. In addition, he/she will work with our existing External Examiners to review a number of modules within the BSc (Hons) Professional Practice Programme. This will include modules delivered at both Level 6 and level 7, with some of the modules shared between pathways.
The External Examiner will be expected to attend the programme assessment board, consider student work and contribute to the overall assessment process.
