The School of Health & Society is involved in the preparation of health and social care professionals, and those wishing to work in the social science disciplines. One of the major strengths of the School is its close relationships with partner organisations resulting in a very dynamic, responsive and innovative approach to programme development, service improvement and research that impact on real world issues.
We are looking to appoint an external examiner for a 4 year period commencing September 2018 for our post qualifying BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies ‘Top Up’ programme.

As an External Examiner you will have responsibility for the external moderation of theoretical assessments as well as supporting the relevant module teams with their planned assessment strategy. The programme is evolving and adapting to changing student needs. As our External we will welcome your guidance on any changes that are proposed. You would be expected to attend module and programme boards and complete an External Examiner Annual Monitoring Report. An Induction Day will be held on Wed 24 October 2018 09:30 – 15:00 BST for new examiners.
