The School of Health & Society is one of two Schools at the University of Salford that are involved in the preparation of health and social care professionals, and those wishing to work in the social science disciplines. One of the major strengths of the School is its close relationships with partner organisations resulting in very dynamic, responsive and innovative approach to programme development, service improvement and research that impact on real world issues.
We are looking to appoint an external examiner for a 3 year period commencing September 2017 for our post qualifying modules many of which are also part of the MSc Nursing pathway *.

As an External Examiner you will have responsibility for the external moderation of theoretical assessments as well as supporting the relevant module teams with their planned assessment strategy. You would be expected to attend module and programme boards and complete an External Examiner Annual Monitoring Report. An Induction Day will be held on Wednesday 1st November 2017 at 10am-3pm for new examiners.
