The University of Gloucestershire is seeking to engage an NMC registered academic as an External Examiner for the following with immediate effect: we are seeking a replacement external examiner from the academic year 2021/22. The University of Gloucestershire offers extensive support for external examiners. Further support is also provided by the course lead for Adult Nursing and administration team.
The University normally expects external examiners to attend a minimum of one examination board per year. Candidates must be registered with the NMC, be currently employed by a UK Higher Education Establishment, be UK resident, and have no more than one other significant external examining role currently. The University operates a two-tier examination board system, with external examiners being initially appointed to a Module Board where they will oversee a number of academic modules.
