The University of Bedfordshire, Faculty of Health and Social Sciences is seeking to appoint an external examiner to the above course.
This is a full-time course which extends over a period of three academic years. It adopts a work-integrated approach to learning which facilitates the application of theoretical learning within the workplace. Students attend university one day a week and engage in work-based learning activities in a healthcare practice setting for the remainder of the time. The course runs yearly with approximately 80 students in each intake.
We are keen to recruit someone who has expertise of delivering such a course.
The term of office for the successful candidate will be for a period of 4 years from September 2015. The current course is due for re-approval in March 2017, so the successful candidate will oversee two cohorts who are currently undertaking the existing course and a cohort of students who will be starting in September 2017 on the new course.
