The School of Health and Society is involved in the preparation of health and social care professionals, and those wishing to work in the social science disciplines. One of the major strengths of the School is its close relationships with partner organisations resulting in very dynamic, responsive and innovative approach to programme development, service improvement and research influencing practice.
We are looking to appoint an external examiner for a 3 year period commencing September 2018 to our current BSc (Hons) Midwifery, 156 week programme.
As an External Examiner you will have responsibility for the external moderation of theoretical assessments and practice portfolios as well as supporting the relevant module teams with their planned assessment strategy. You would be expected to attend module and programme boards and complete an External Examiner Annual Monitoring Report.
