The School of Health Sciences within City, University of London is seeking to appoint an external examiner for the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing Programme (Year 1 and 2). Our new pre-registration curriculum is based on the Standards of Proficiency for Registered Nurses, Education and Training (NMC 2018) and commenced in 2019. The successful applicant would be responsible for reviewing assessments from modules at levels 4 and level 5. Modules at level 4 focus on the foundations for nursing and consider the psychological, social and biological factors influencing health. Modules at level 5 focus on person-centered care and explore this theme in the context of acute and long term care. The successful applicant will be offered an induction at City, University of London, with continued support from the programme director and course officer.
The appointment will commence in September 2020 and will be for a period of 4 years.
